Stor-Energy is proud to announce that Columboola Battery has been renamed as Bawurra Battery. Bawurra means Red Kangaroo in the local Iman language and the name was chosen together with the local Traditional Owners to pay respect to the Iman language and the local Traditional Owners who have cared for and continue to care for Country. Stor-Energy is investigating benefit sharing opportunities in cooperation both with the Traditional Owners and the local community and we want to make sure the project is the best fit for the region.
